The discovery I purchased a few weeks ago has been so far so good. I got it delivered to me, there was a little mix up but this may have been due to the third party delivery service. However it all got rectified quite quickly. When the car did arrive it was exactly as it had been pictured and described online. I didn't feel there was any hidden issues. I would certainty still use Hamworthy again. All in all it was a good buying experience with them.

I am really happy with my experience. There is an issue with the tyre pressure system however Graham is looking into it for me and I am sure it will get sorted. Such a great bunch at Hamworthy. A lot different to the typical pushy dealership and salesman. They are all really down to earth and honest about everything. Straightforward and smooth process. From start to finish it was really easy with no problems. They did hold the vehicle for a little bit to make sure everything was fixed and that I wouldn't have any issues, which I appreciated. They kept me updated and I am really pleased with the vehicle. What I appreciated most about these guys was their willingness to help. I'd enquired about a Land Rover Defender and being quite particular, asked them to point out any minor defects beforehand. They agreed to fit a body kit too which looked great, so I made the 5-hour trip to collect it once ready. There were a couple of small gaps where the kit wasn't quite flush (something I'd hoped they'd spot) but to their credit, they sorted it there and then while I waited. Overall it was a good experience. I liked that they're a family-run business and I drove away happy which is what matters most.

I'd definitely recommend Hamworthy Car Centre to friends and family because The sales team are very helpful not pushy or put pressure on you when looking at vehicles. Quality of vehicles speak for themselves. Transaction of purchase and hand over is easy . All vehicles are well prepped ,serviced if needed and I had 12 months mot sorted for me prior to collection. RAC Warranty offered even though I still had 5 months manufacture warranty left on vehicle. Hopefully Rac will deliver in the event I have a mechanical breakdown within next 3 years . Having spent a considerable sum on a vehicle it's hopefully reassuring to a buyer costs are covered if there is mechanical failure .Hamworthy have also suggested if any problems in first 3 months to return vehicle to them to rectify any issues. I'm sure this won't be required but nice to know your not forgotten as a customer some weeks after a sale

I decided to purchase a pick up truck from Hamworthy car centre having looked for many weeks only to be disappointed when looking at similar vehicles forsale.at other car sales/ dealerships . The quality of vehicle for its year of manufacture was very pleasing and the sales procedure and receipt of vehicle was prompt / professional and reassuring.In particular Simon kasey one of sales team who secured purchase was very informative .He gave me options on the available extended warranties / provided me with a fully serviced vehicle and 12 months mot as part of the sale .In the unlikely hood of there being a problem within the first couple of months Hamworthy insisted they return vehicle to there workshop to rectify any problems. This I felt is piece of mind for any buyer wanting some security. Thanks again to all the team for a quick and efficient sale of a high quality vehicle

I bought a Ford Custom van from Hamworthy Car Centre 2 weeks ago. It looked super-clean and a good price on the Autotrader advert, so I made a deal with Simon that I'd pay up front and travel down to see the van with the option to pull out of the deal with an immediate full refund if it wasn't as described.
On arrival, the van appeared even better than I'd expected, so the deal went through very smoothly and I was on my way back to Gloucestershire in under an hour from arriving at Poole station.

No issues with the van since purchase, but the free warranty they offer, gave me peace of mind that any issues could be dealt with smoothly, locally, without having to return to Poole.

Simon's communication was excellent throughout, which helped give me the confidence to proceed that way. Thank you!

Hamworthy Car Centre was a pleasure to purchase a vehicle from! Simon was very honest and communicated well through the process of purchasing. The van I bought needed a couple of bits doing to it before collection (rear light cracked, front discs etc.) and they were just done! With no fight! Nowadays you fight garages to put things right but not here, there was no excuses they were just done. The valet was also amazing - show room ready! Everything was done to very high standards. Purchased a Discovery 4 Graphite from Hamworthy Car Centre. As I was working overseas I made the initial enquiry via the phone. Spoke to Graham who was very helpful and answered my many questions (all the more challenging as I'm a self confessed LR geek!)
Throughout the process, Graham has gone out of his way to assist me with my purchase. Friendly, courteous and highly knowledgeable, at no point was any pressure applied and all email/phone correspondence was dealt with quickly.
On collecting the car I was exceptionally impressed with the condition of the vehicle, an outstanding valet had been completed (incredible attention to detail by the valet team). The pictures on Auto Trader were pre-valet, so the car looked even smarter than I was expecting. All the supporting paperwork was given to me including a comprehensive service history and warranty information, including break down cover.
Really impressed with the car and the sales team, would definitely recommend and will use them again in the future.

Because of Covid it was a different buying experience than what I had in other car purchases, everything had been prepared before hand all documents signed online all I did was turn up and collect with the promise that if I wasn't happy with the vehicle I could have a no quibble refund. That was my experience at Hamworthy Car Centre it was excellent from start to finish with the guarantee that if anything goes wrong to bring it straight back we will have to wait and see on that one, so far so good.

Not this time. Hamworthy's were honest, proposed a realistic deal, very efficient and the purchase went ahead very smoothly. I also loved the fact that they sent a video of the car as I lived approximately 300 miles away and was honest about the vehicle, servicing etc. I cannot recommend them highly enough, there is no reason to worry about distance purchasing from this company. Unlike some sales people he was not 'pushy' and so I not only had time to examine and test drive the car but I was also able to ask questions in a very relaxed environment, all of which were answered in full. Great experience buying my New Land Rover

I had a fantastic experience at Hamworthy car centre buying my new Land Rover Discovery. I dealt with Gary and He made the whole experience smooth, fun and enjoyable which is the way it should be. Something that is lacking in many dealers. He kept me informed through the whole buying process and nothing was to much trouble even when I was bombarding him with questions. I Originally turned up to view the car Without an appointment and it was off the road getting the wheels balanced And hadn't been valeted but the guys rushed around and got it sorted for me to drive in 10 minutes. When I turned up to collect the car it looked like brand new! Amazing job. Gary took the time to show me all the controls (of which there are a lot) and i never felt rushed. Great experience all round.

I had a lovely gentleman who oversaw the sale of my new Volkswagen Polo from the first enquiry until the post-sale courtesy call, he was extremely informative and helpful with all of my queries. Being approximately 250 miles away from the dealership I was not able to view the car in person before buying, therefore relied completely on the pictures and videos available.
