Initial Disclosure Document

We are Hamworthy Car Centre, authorized and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) (Reg. No. 670922). Our services primarily involve arranging vehicle financing through MotoNovo Finance, our preferred partner due to our stock funding facility, CA Auto Finance and Evolution Funding, an independent broker working with additional lenders. You can confirm our status on the FCA Financial Services Register.

Finance Products and Agreement Types

We offer Hire Purchase (HP), Personal Contract Purchase (PCP), Hire Purchase with Balloon, and Lease Agreements. We will recommend the most suitable finance product based on the information you provide. If you have a preference for a specific product, please let us know. If unsure, ask us for more details.

Regulatory Commitment and Consumer Choice

We are regulated by the FCA, ensuring transparency and consumer protection. We will introduce you to MotoNovo, and only refer you to CA Auto finance or Evolution Funding if MotoNovo cannot offer a suitable product, declines your application, or if you request it.

Finance Providers, APR Rates, and Commission Structure

APR Rates: MotoNovo offer rates starting at 9.9% APR, based on your credit profile. CA Auto Finance and Evolution Funding offer rates starting at 11.9%.

MotoNovo Finance: We receive a fixed commission of 4.75% of the amount advanced (e.g., for £20,000, we receive £950). MotoNovo performs one hard credit check.

CA Auto Finance: We receive a fixed commission of 5% of the amount advanced (e.g., for £20,000, we receive £1,000). CA Auto Finance performs one hard credit check.

Evolution Funding (Broker): We will only refer you to Evolution Funding if necessary. Their commission varies but will not exceed 5% of the amount advanced. Evolution Funding may perform multiple credit checks, some of which may be "hard".

Additional Product: RAC Extended Warranty

We offer an optional RAC Extended Warranty for extra protection on repairs and maintenance. Please ask if interested.

Before and After the Sale

You will receive clear information on significant exclusions, interest charges, cancellation rights, and our complaints procedure. If you need to cancel your finance agreement or have any concerns, we aim to resolve issues promptly and professionally. You can escalate complaints to the Financial Ombudsman Service (Exchange Tower, London, E14 9SR).
